Do you produce different types of lead?

Yes, we can produce lead to match your specific requirements. Some of our most common types of lead produced include:

  • 99.98% Lead content (soft lead)
  • 4.5% Antimonial Lead

Do you sell lead in smaller quantities?

Yes. While we often send out shipments weighing one ton or more, our minimum order is 1,000 lbs.

How do I buy lead from Metalex?
  • The minimum order is 1,000 lbs.
  • We accept cash or company cheque only; no debit/credit cards.
  • Lead is a commodity; prices do fluctuate with the market. Call us to find out our current price.

Is lead dangerous?

While lead has many useful purposes, it can be harmful to human health, causing a range of ailments such as high blood pressure, anemia and kidney damage. That is why there are very strict environmental regulations that Metalex must follow in processing and shipping lead for customers.

Can I bring you my used batteries to recycle?

Yes, but in large quantities only, 100 units or 2 skids.
